Did you know that as a new employee, you only have a 75-day election window from your start date to decide which program to enroll in, or your plan will default to the Pension Plus 2 retirement option?!? If you are a new employee or in need of a retirement plan refresher, come listen to the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel (MARSP) present the differences between the BASIC, MIP, Pension Plus, Pension Plus 2 & Defined Contribution (DC) plans. Spouses and retirement questions are welcome during these sessions!
