Taylor School District employees work hard, and their physical and mental health is vital to the role they play. That is why the Taylor Healthcare Committee provides the best insurance plans possible and strives to make that coverage easily accessible to all eligible employees.
The Taylor Health Care Committee (HCC) was formed and works together to support union and non-union employees. As of January 2026, the HCC is providing a defined contribution plan through the district. A defined distribution plan is when an employer provides a specific dollar amount for benefits. Through plan management and teaching employees how to save themselves and the plan money. This will allow us to meet our goal of providing the best benefits we can and to facilitate an environment that encourages a healthy work-life balance. Through the wellness program, we will support your physical or mental needs through various resources. This will include healthy recipes, on-demand webinars to support your mental health, on-demand yoga and physical exercise programs as well as informative live events.
